"Dear Judith, Dear Bodyline
Although I had originally not intended to use your services but just
wanted to go on holiday in Thailand – looking around for a solution to
my massive breast problems (implants) myself since I had heard a lot of
positive things concerning surgery there - I, sort of, stumbled on to
your web-site and decided to contact you 2 days before leaving home.
The most astonishing thing for me was that I received an almost
immediate reply (same day) which struck me as being very professional!
After a few minutes of going through your offers, I then contacted you
with details of my problems (urgent replacement of old implants that
had already deformed and were causing a lot of pain).
Judith, I really do not know where to start thanking you. Maybe with
the story of how you contacted me in Phuket, raced around trying to
find the “right” doctor for my problem, set up the date for the
surgery, drove me to the hospital, were there at all times and holding
my (trembling) hands – namely, before going in for the surgery, being
there when I woke up again (although I was so out that I only noticed
the next morning because of the little note and flowers you had left at
my bed) and visiting constantly. How wonderful to see a familiar and
caring face waking up after you had just gone through a six-hour
surgery! The doctor you suggested and we both then decided on was
absolutely breathtaking = Dr. Eamtanaporn Pongsakorn. This
professional, warm, gentle doctor spent a lot of time with me and
answered even the most “ridiculous” questions concerning the surgery I
simply wanted to be explained to me in detail. The hospital itself was
absolutely clean, the nursing unit very caring.
But that is not all I would like to thank you for. After leaving the
hospital you suggested that I recover in an environment far away from
the usual tourist places = Aochalong Bay. I must say that I really felt
good to experience such a wonderful spot with very nice staff. And then
all the social activities you enabled me to attend to! Thank you once
again! I am sure to recommend you to all who will listen to me…
PS: After receiving your email asking me how I felt and if everything
is still okay, I have to admit that I immediately felt a trice better
again. No post-surgery problems at all – only the healing will take a
bit longer due to the long lasting, complicated surgery. But I’m
certain that will be over in a “jiffy”…. I just (4 months after the
surgery) had an MRT done to check if all is well and to give me even
more self-confidence. It shows that everything is perfectly okay. Dr.
Pongsakorn has done a great job. Please give my thanks and regards to
him as I also will do personally. I feel great having my normal life
back again without all this pain.

"My trip gave me much more than I expected. My reconstruction was
far better than I had expected, the extras that I did not ask for but
received far exceeded my expectations. My surgeon and hospital
experience words cannot describe. I previously have had
10 ops on my right breast for the removal of lumps and partial
masectomony and I never received the high standard of treatment from
surgeon or staff as I did in Thailand. My recovery went well with
no side effects and my stay at Bodyline was a journey of a lifetime, a
spiritual journey, the treatment, friends I met, the makeover, the

"From the moment we were picked up from the airport any fears or second
thoughts of travelling to Thailand for surgery were relieved. The
reception and journey to the hospital with Janese was memorable and
comforting! Janese attended all appointments and hospital visits, was
there when I woke up after the anaesthetic, attended the hospital to
say hello each of the two days I was an inpatient. There was a
complication after I returned to the retreat and Janese phoned Dr
Pathom direct and organised an appointment.
Then there was the social activities. Janese was happy to drop us
anywhere we wanted to go and in fact played tour guide for much of the
last couple of days. We ate out on a number of occasions together. I
could not have wanted or expected a higher standard of pre or post
operative care and continued companionship as given by Janese. Simply
outstanding.
Driving from the airport to the hospital raises your eyebrows to say
the least… As you know the site of tin shacks run down equipment and
old buildings (if u can call them that) sends a million thoughts
running through your head, but the conversations with Janese and Rhonda
are an excellent distraction from the view. Then you arrive at the
hospital, a golf buggy takes you from the car park to the entrance of
the hospital and then I was in awe…
Marble laid flooring and a glamorous foyer. I was impressed!
I
had my appointment with Dr Pathom. He has a good personal manner and I
understood what he was saying, he gave me the opportunity to ask
questions at the end. That man had the most gentle hands I have ever
seen/felt on any person ever. I was very happy after that appointment
that he would perform the operation.
On the
day of surgery I was scheduled for 1pm op but went to theatre at 11am.
That process was good. I woke up at 6pm with this lady leaning over me
telling me it was not a dream and yes I was alive… It was Janese, a
familiar face, a familiar voice it was all one could have hoped for.
In the ward the nurses put up the morphine and whatever else was
required. My heart rate and blood pressure went right up through the
night, every 30 minutes they came to check on me and take recordings.
The anaesthetic made me vomit many times through the night and they
attended each time after pressing the buzzer. They understood me quite
well, and saying pain bought new drugs each time….
The nursing care was excellent.
Follow
up appointments with Dr Pathom went well and he gave me his mobile
number should I need to contact him from Australia. Furthermore the
location of the hospital in Phuket was excellent in the sense of being
a fantastic holiday destination. Post op there were so many things to
do. I am very happy my surgery was in Phuket and not in Bangkok.
Overall, the entire hospital process was extremely positive.
In conclusion my overall experience has been fantastic! I have no
hesitation in recommending The Bodyline Retreat and the Bangkok
Phuket Hospital. The results of my operation will take several months
to show completely however I already have several family members eager
to have their own procedures completed in Thailand. They will use your
services and bodyline.
So
thank you for your contribution to a most memorable experience! If any

"Well all is healed and feeling good. I haven't had any post op
problems and can say that I was totally satisfied with the level of
care and attention from you at Bodyline and at the
hospital. I also had an email from a lady who wanted some
info as she was thinking of having breast surgery also. I was
quite happy to tell her that all went very well and that you were great
in Phuket.

"I am extremely happy with the results of my breast augmentation
surgery and I would definitely recommend the entire Thailand surgery
experience to others ... in fact I already have done so! Dr
Witoon is a most wonderful surgeon and not only ensured that
the results achieved my expectations perfectly, (with minimal
discomfort), but he also portrayed a caring nature towards me before,
during and after the surgery.
As I ended up deciding to spend some time in S.East Asia after my
surgery and was in no hurry to return to the UK, I met Dr.
Witoon in Bangkok on 2 occasions - 2 weeks and 6 weeks after the
surgery. He took me out for dinner with his staff both times,
which was very lovely. He also checked my healing and
injected my right breast 10 times with a solution to help the nerves
grow back ... this was done for no charge. Although I am
extremely happy with the surgery and don't expect there to be any
issues, Dr. Witoon expressed that he performs any corrective surgery
free of charge (although I would of course need to fly back to
Bangkok, pay hospital fees, etc. - but the gesture is appreciated).
As for my time at The Bodyline Retreat, I believe that
staying there was beneficial. Although my discomfort was not
nearly as much as I had expected, and, as my surgery was for cosmetic
purposes, I felt that I had no right to demand sympathy anyway,
whenever I did feel pain/sore/restless, Janese was always on hand to
help.
My room at Phuket hospital was very clean and the staff there
seemed kind ... except maybe 1 time when they made me wait for
more pain killers ... but that was probably because I would've
over-dosed!!!
I feel fit and healthy. The scarring under my armpits is simply
a 5cm long, 3mm wide line ... which seems to reduce
weekly. The breasts look very natural ... as requested ...
and so I now fit a 34c bra as desired.

"Dear Christa,
My holiday that started on 6th January 2006 went very well. Everything
went as planned, I was meet at Phuket Airport by Janese Ritchie, who
then took me to Bangkok Phuket Hospital. I had an appointment with
Doctor Pathom, I was most impressed with Doctor Pathom's
professionalism. It was refreshing to meet a caring Doctor who has an
excellent rapport with his clients. I was quite surprised when he said
no to my face lift, he said " Come back in five to ten years." I was
very pleased, that he was not doing plastic surgery for money, but what
was best for the client.
(Note: Rhonda was booked to have Tummy Tuck, Liposuction and Face Lift.
She continued to have the Tummy Tuck and Liposuction.)
I was operated on that same day, Janese was there before I went in and
after post surgery. It was lovely to see a familiar face on returning
to the ward. Janese would come to visit two to three times a day, it
was great to be able to have a conversation and she was excellent
advocate for me if anything needed done. I spent five days in hospital
and again Janesse was there to take me back to "The Bodyline Retreat."
The Bodyline Retreat was the ideal place to recover from surgery,
Janese and her staff provided a warm and inviting environment. The rest
of the holiday was exciting and busy to relaxing by the pool or having
massages. I can say money well spent , I would recommend it, no problem.
Follow up care post discharge with Doctor Pathom was better than some
Specialists, I have seen in Brisbane. He did not forget to write a
letter to my G.P and surgery and out come so far, as well written a
letter in Thai for airline staff about seat allocation on to planes to
make the trip as comfortable as possible.
I returned to Australia on 23rd January, 2006. People have commented on
how good I look. I state " I feel good as well."
I wish to thank you for arranging my appointment with Doctor Pathom and
recommending The Bodyline Retreat, both are outstanding.
My pictures that I forward to you I wish them to be used by Doctor
Pathom at Bangkok Phuket Hospital for the expo in Melbourne. I want the
credit to go to the right people as they deserve the credit.
